About Burnt Church Distillery
Burnt Church Distillery is one of Bluffton's most distinctive destinations — a craft distillery, restaurant, and event venue housed in a converted church on Bluffton Road. The spirits are made here, from grains sourced from nearby farms, and the whole operation reflects a deep commitment to the Lowcountry's land and traditions.
There are two dining concepts under one roof. The main Burnt Church menu offers elevated Southern cuisine — bold flavors, honest ingredients, and cocktails built around the house spirits. Hail Mary's Sports Bar is the more casual side: comfort food, game-day energy, and the same great craft spirits in a livelier setting.
Beyond the food and drink, Burnt Church offers guided distillery tours, mixology classes, and a full calendar of live events. It's a place worth spending an evening — arrive for dinner, stay for a tour, and leave with a bottle of something made right here in Bluffton.

Local tip
Book a distillery tour in advance — they fill up, especially on weekends. If you're coming for dinner, the main Burnt Church menu is the better choice for a proper meal; Hail Mary's is ideal for a casual night watching the game. Check their events calendar before you visit — there's often live music on weekends.
